The Northcote Town Hall is a beautiful piece of architecture, especially on the inside. The hall has recently been restored to its former art deco splendour with high quality finishes and fittings. It is a beautiful space full of light and character.

The Winter Artisan Markets occur over 4 consecutive Saturdays but I was only able to do 2 of them. The first was the second market in the series and many felt the crowd had waned somewhat. I enjoyed the space and sold enough to cover my costs for this market and last weeks dismal result. So I was very happy with it.

The second market was equally as good and I spent much of the day talking to other vendors and curious customers, so again this was a successful market, especially as some vendors had no sales all day.

I’ll be back for the Night Markets when the weather will be entirely different, and I will have a new range of colours and fabrics to match.
