Hemp Seed Milk

Hemp milk is protein and nutrient rich, delicious and very easy to make because you don’t have to soak the seeds.

Hemp seeds are the richest and most balanced source of Omega 3, 6 and 9. Hemp seeds are also rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre, live enzymes, natural chlorophyll, and all 20 Amino acids, including the ones the body cannot produce. They are a complete food and taste good too.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup raw hulled hemp seeds
3 cups filtered water
1 tsp stevia powder, or to taste
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of Celtic sea salt or Himalayan salt

METHOD
Place all ingredients in your blender for about a minute.
If you want a richer milk, add 1 tbl hemp seed oil and blend. Note, this turns the milk green.
Consume unstrained for the most nutritional benefit. However, if you prefer a smoother milk, strain through a fine sieve or muslin. Save the pulp and add to soup, or muffin mix.

Makes about 3 cups milk.
You could flavour this milk with raw cacao, berries or banana etc
