DIY Coconut Milk

Product Information

Makes about 1 1/2 to 2 cups


  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 2½ cups water


  • Place coconut in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Boil the water then pour over the coconut and mix.
  • Allow mixture to return to room temperature.
  • Place in a blender for 60 seconds.
  • Scoop mixture into a mesh bag or muslin, and squeeze the milk into a medium bowl.
  • Repeat the process one more time.
